Add a page to your church website

Add a page when visitors need information that deserves its own place, such as what to expect on Sunday. Keep each page focused on what someone needs to know or do.

Before you start

Open Edit Website with a church admin account or a role allowed to manage website content. Hubl also has built-in pages. Check the page selector before creating a second page for the same purpose.

Create and fill the page

Choose Create New Page

Click the current page name in the toolbar, such as Home, then choose Create New Page.

Give the page a name and address

Enter a Page Title. Hubl suggests a Page URL from it; use a short, recognizable address. Choose an icon if helpful, then click Create Page. If the address is already used or reserved, choose another.

The title names the page. Page URL is the short address used to reach it.

Add the information visitors need

Choose Add Section and select a section such as Text, Text + Image or Photo Gallery. Click the section’s editable text to replace the starter content. Add a clear next action where useful. Add links to your public events and service information instead of typing a second copy of the schedule.

Save, then publish when ready

Choose Save draft to keep working privately. When the page is ready, choose Publish and confirm. Publishing this page is separate from publishing the home page.

Find the page as a visitor

Open your site in a signed-out browser and open the navigation menu. Published custom pages appear in the menu’s More group. Choose the new page and check its content and links. You do not need to create a second menu item manually.

After publishing, the new page is available from the public navigation menu.

Hide a page without deleting it

Open the page in the editor, then choose More → Hide this page from visitors and read the confirmation. To bring it back, use Show this page to visitors from the same menu. For a custom page, showing it again goes through publishing.

Note

Hiding a page is not an unsaved draft edit. It changes visitor access separately. Check the signed-out page and menu after confirming.
