Walkthrough steps

  1. Open your website editor

    Choose Edit Website in your church admin area. Your page opens with the editing toolbar above it.

  2. Click the words and make your change

    Select the welcome heading and type your church’s message. Click outside the text to finish editing it.

  3. Save a page draft

    Save draft keeps page content changes private while you work. Visitors continue to see the published version.

  4. Publish when you are ready

    Choose Publish, check the confirmation and make the current page live. Open your public website to see the result.

  5. Check the published page

    Open your public website to see your new welcome message as visitors will see it.

Edit the page you are looking at.

Click editable headings and paragraphs to change them in place. Use Change Photo to replace a picture. You can see where your words and images will sit while you work.

Site design brings the layout and look controls together. Choose how your page is arranged and how your photos appear, then add your church’s own content.

Save page content privately, return later, and publish after a final check. Version history lets you load an earlier save into the editor to review. Some settings, including brand colors and page visibility, save separately.

Your service schedule and public events come from Hubl. Manage the information there and send visitors to those pages. You do not need to maintain a second event listing by hand.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Use the page’s editing controls to change your content and choose a layout. You do not need to write HTML or CSS.

Can I try the editor for free?

Yes. Website editing is available on every plan. Create your church, choose a design and start adding your content.

Will visitors see unfinished changes?

Saved page content drafts stay private until you publish. Some settings save separately, including brand colors, page visibility and connected event details. Check the confirmation for the setting you are changing.

Can I recover an earlier version?

Open More, then Version history. Restoring loads the saved version into the editor so you can review it before saving or publishing again.
