Your co-op deserves better than a spreadsheet and a Venmo request.

Hubl Learn runs terms, class periods, enrollment, attendance, and fees for homeschool co-ops, micro-schools, learning pods, and small day schools. Families sign themselves up. You stop retyping the roster every August.

For a school, co-op, or micro-school. Not part of a church plan.

Nobody signed up
to be the registrar.

Someone in your co-op is doing this at ten at night. A fresh tab for the fall term, copied from spring and already half wrong. A payment request sent to each family, then a mental note of who actually paid. A clipboard by the door that goes home in somebody's car.

That work is real, invisible, and usually unpaid. It is also why good co-ops stall at the size where one volunteer can still hold the whole thing in their head.

Build the semester once.

A term holds your dates, your enrollment window, your class periods, and the grade bands that go with them. Set up first hour and second hour, drop classes into them, and the schedule exists for everyone at the same moment. Next term you copy it instead of starting over.

  • Each term has its own dates and an enrollment window that closes on its own.
  • Class periods keep one child from being booked into two rooms at the same hour.
  • Grade ranges on every class, using the same K-12 grades as the rest of Hubl.
  • Finished terms archive instead of vanishing, so last year stays readable.

Families enroll themselves.

Publish the catalog and parents choose classes for each of their children. Hubl checks the grade range, refuses a schedule that puts one child in two places at once, and moves the rest onto a waitlist when a class fills.

  • A public catalog for the current term, visible only while enrollment is open.
  • Grade eligibility checked per child rather than per family.
  • Schedule conflicts caught before the enrollment goes through.
  • Capacity with an automatic waitlist once a class is full.

Fees without chasing anyone down.

Charge a fee per family for the term and a fee on each class, and let parents pay both by card as they enroll. It lands on the same ledger that already handles event registrations and VBS, so who owes what is something you look up.

  • A per-term family fee alongside a fee on each class.
  • Card payments through your own Stripe account, paid out to your bank.
  • Paid, partly paid, and unpaid tracked per family and per enrollment.
  • Manual overrides for the family paying cash or working it off.

Attendance from the room you are standing in.

Every class meeting is a session, and you mark the roll on your phone while the kids are still in front of you. When the state wants proof of hours, or a parent asks how often their child showed up, you run a report.

  • Present, absent, late, and excused for every session.
  • A roster CSV for any class when you want it on paper.
  • A class report covering the whole term.
  • Recorded against the enrollment, so a mid-term drop keeps its history.

A class capped at ten stays at ten.

When two parents hit submit in the same second, Hubl settles it inside one transaction. The next family goes on the waitlist, and the class stays the size you set.

It is the same Hubl
underneath.

A co-op needs a website, a way to email forty families at once, forms nobody has to retype, and a check-in station on a Tuesday morning. Those are already here, and they know about your classes.

One login for every family.

Parents see each child's schedule for the term, what each class costs, what is still owed, and the forms nobody has filled in yet. Older terms sit on their own tab, so a parent can check last spring without calling you about it.

Your class catalog on your website.

The catalog lives on your public site while enrollment is open, grouped by period, with the seats left on every class.

Email one class, one term, or every family.

Messages go to the people on your rosters, who are the same people in your directory.

Forms for the paperwork.

Medical releases, volunteer agreements, and photo permissions, filled in once and kept with the family.

Included in the School plan.

Check-in, and the app on parents' phones.

Child check-in at the door on a Tuesday morning, and the Hubl Life app using the same login parents already have for events.

What Hubl Learn does not do yet.

Grades are not in here. No gradebook, assignments, report cards, or transcripts, so a co-op that issues them will keep that somewhere else for now. Fees are collected when a family enrolls rather than billed monthly, so a payment plan spread across the semester is something we are building toward. Both are next, and the data model already has room for them.

Build your
first term.

Create your school, add your periods and classes, and publish the catalog when you are ready. Taking card payments needs a Stripe account connected to Hubl, which costs nothing to set up and takes about ten minutes.

The School plan.

$30/month with the first 100 students included.

A bigger school.

$10/month for each 50 students after that.

Terms, classes, enrollment, and attendance belong to a school organization. They are not part of a church plan.
