Give online

Give by card or bank transfer, choose whether to cover the fee, and know which confirmation to expect for each.

Open your church’s giving page and choose Give Now. The form is six short steps — Amount, Designation, Your Info, Payment, Review, Complete — and you can go back to any step you have already passed by choosing it along the top. You do not need an account.

Amount, and how you want to pay

Pick $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, or Other for your own figure. Choosing an amount opens How would you like to pay? on the same step, because the two cost different amounts to process:

  • Card — 2.9% + 30¢. It goes through immediately.
  • Bank account — 0.8%, never more than $5. It takes a few days.

On larger gifts the form points this out itself, with a line like A bank account saves $2.40 in fees.

Covering the fee adds it on top. The total updates as you choose.
1

Decide about the fee

I’ll cover the processing fee adds the processing cost to your gift so the church receives the full amount you meant to give. Tick it and the total changes — a $100 card gift becomes $103.20, shown as $100.00 gift + $3.20 fee. Leave it and the church receives your gift minus the fee.
2

Choose where it goes

The Designation step lists the church’s funds, such as General Fund, Missions or Building Fund. Pick one. If the church has only set up a default fund, your gift goes there.
3

Tell them who you are

First name, last name and email are required; phone is optional. You can add a Note with your gift, and tick Make this donation anonymous to keep your name off the church’s lists. If you are signed in, these fields are already filled in.

Note

Anonymous hides your name from the church’s view of the gift. Your email is still needed, because that is where the receipt goes.
4

Enter your payment details

For a card, type the number, expiry and CVC. For a bank transfer, you are asked to find and authorise your bank. Your details go straight to ; the church never sees or stores them.
5

Review, then complete

The Review step repeats the amount, the fund, any fee you are covering and your details. Complete Donation submits it.

How to know it worked

The confirmation you get depends on how you paid, and the difference matters.

  • Card. “Your donation of $X has been processed successfully,” and a receipt is sent to your email. It is done.
  • Bank transfer. “Your bank transfer of $X has been initiated.” Bank transfers take 3–5 business days, and you get a second email once the transfer actually completes. Before authorising, the form states plainly that you are approving a one-time debit for that amount.

Warning

A bank transfer that is still processing will not appear in your giving history yet, and the church will see it marked Pending. That is normal for the first few days. Do not give a second time to make it show up — you would be charged twice.

Afterwards

If you gave without an account, you are offered one on the confirmation screen. Creating it links your past gifts to you so you can see them in one place later — see Find your giving history and receipt. Make Another Donation clears the form and starts a fresh gift.

Note

There is no way to set up an automatic weekly or monthly gift. Each donation is made on its own. If you want to record an intention to give a set amount over time, a signed-in member can enter a pledge instead, which tracks the commitment without taking any money.

If something goes wrong

If the page says Giving Not Available, or your card is refused, or the gift never appears, A gift is pending, failed, or giving is unavailable covers each case and what to do about it.
