Give on a schedule
Set up a gift that repeats weekly, monthly or yearly, then change, pause or stop it from your profile.
A recurring gift repeats on its own: weekly, every two weeks, monthly, quarterly or yearly. The first gift is made the day you set it up, and each one after that gets its own receipt. You can change, pause or stop it whenever you like.

Change, pause or stop it
Sign in, open your profile and choose the Giving tab. Your recurring gifts are at the top, with the amount, fund, the card you are using and the date of the next gift.
- Change gift sets a new amount, schedule or fund. Your next gift stays on the date it was already due.
- Update card switches the gift to a different card.
- Pause skips every gift until you choose Resume. Nothing is charged while it is paused, and skipped gifts are not made up later.
- Stop gift ends it for good. Your past gifts and receipts stay in your history. To start again, set up a new gift.
If a payment doesn't go through
If your card is declined or has expired, you get an email titled Your recurring gift to [your church] didn't go through, with a link to your profile. The gift shows Payment failed and the reason the bank gave.
Stripe tries again over the next few days. To fix it now, choose Update card and enter a card that works. The missed gift is charged straight away, and the next one follows on schedule.
Receipts and history
Every gift in the schedule appears in your giving history with its own receipt, the same as a one-time gift. See Find your giving history and receipt.
