Managing Form Submissions

Review form responses, track unread submissions, add admin notes, and manage your forms inbox from the dashboard.

When someone fills out one of your forms, their response is saved as a and appears in your admin panel. New submissions trigger notifications (if configured) and show up as unread until you review them.

Forms Dashboard

The Forms Dashboard is the first page you see when you click Forms in the . It provides an at-a-glance overview of your form activity.

The Forms Dashboard with stats and recent submissions

Four stat cards are displayed at the top:

  • Total Forms — how many forms you have created (with active count)
  • Total Submissions — all-time submission count across all forms
  • Unread — submissions you have not yet reviewed (highlighted with an accent border)
  • Active Forms — forms currently accepting submissions

Recent Activity

Below the stats, a Recent Activity section shows the latest responses across all forms. Each row displays:

  • An unread indicator dot (filled for unread, hollow for read)
  • The submitter's name or email

2

Take action on the submission

From the detail view you can:
  • Mark Read / Mark Unread — toggle the read status. Submissions are automatically marked read when you open them.
  • Archive / Unarchive — move submissions out of the main view. Archived submissions are still accessible via the Archived filter tab.
  • Delete — permanently remove a submission. Requires the forms.manage permission.
3

Add admin notes

Use the notes section at the bottom of the detail view to add internal notes about a submission. Notes are only visible to admins — respondents cannot see them.

Tip

Use admin notes to track follow-up actions, like "Called back on Monday" or "Added to prayer list." This keeps your team on the same page without needing a separate system.

Note

Submissions are only visible to admins with form management permissions. Respondents cannot see other people's submissions.

Permissions

Submission management is controlled by these :

  • forms.view — View the dashboard and submission lists
  • forms.manage — Mark submissions read/unread, archive, add notes, and delete
