Add people from form responses
Turn the people who filled out a form into visitors and families, matched against the members you already have so no one is added twice.
When newcomers fill out a connect card, a signup sheet or an event form, you can add them to People without retyping anything. Members who already have a record are matched to it, so no one ends up in your directory twice.
Before you start
You need access to forms and permission to add members. Hubl looks for each person's name, email and phone among the form's questions. A single question like Your name works, as do separate First name and Last name questions. Address, birthday and how they heard about you are picked up too when the form asks.

What gets created
New people are added as visitors. Each one joins a family: their existing family if they already have one, or a new family under their last name. Members who were already in People keep their membership status, and their record is only filled in where it was blank unless you choose otherwise.
Tip
After they're added
Each response shows In People with a link to the person, and the response itself links to their record. The next time you add people from this form, those responses are skipped, so you can run it again after more people sign up.
