Connect a domain your church owns, check its DNS records, and activate it for your website.
Before you start
You need the Website or Full plan, permission to manage website settings, and access to the company where your church manages its domain. A domain is an address such as yourchurch.org. Hubl connects an address you own; entering it here does not buy it.
Publish and check your Hubl website before changing the address people already use. If someone else manages the domain, ask them to help with the records Hubl displays.
Connect the address

Start Domain Setup
Open Settings → Website → Custom Domain. Enter Your Domain without https://, then choose Start Domain Setup. Use the address you want visitors to type, such as yourchurch.org or a subdomain such as church.yourchurch.org.

Copy the records shown by Hubl
The DNS Setup step shows the records to create with your domain provider. Copy each record’s type, name and value from your own setup screen. The TXT record proves ownership; the routing records point the address at Hubl. Do not copy records from another church or an old screenshot.
Note
For a root domain such as yourchurch.org, Hubl shows routing records for both the root address and www. Add both. A subdomain has its own routing instructions. Some providers add your domain to record names automatically, so use the name Hubl gives you rather than repeating the full domain.
Warning
Changing routing records moves website traffic. Keep email records and other services intact. If an existing record conflicts with the instructions, ask the person managing your domain before replacing it.

Check DNS Status
Return to Hubl and choose Check DNS Status. If a record is missing or has not reached Hubl yet, follow the displayed next steps and check again after your provider’s changes have taken effect. A saved record at your provider does not by itself mean verification has finished.

Activate the domain
After DNS passes, continue to Activate and use the activation button shown. If Hubl asks for further ownership verification, follow that prompt. If it reports One version still needs DNS, correct the named hostname and use Recheck DNS.
How to know it worked
Check the completed domain status, then open your address in a signed-out browser. For a root domain, test both yourchurch.org and www.yourchurch.org. They should reach your intended published site without a certificate warning.
If the address still does not work
Check the exact record names and values, whether both hostnames were configured, and whether the site is published. If Hubl reports the domain is already in use or verification continues to fail, contact support with the domain and the displayed message. Never send your domain-provider password.
