RSVPing for a Standard Event

Most church events like potlucks, service projects, and Bible studies use a simple process with a step-by-step form.

1

Find the event and tap RSVP

Visit your church's and look for the event you want to attend. On the event detail page, tap the RSVP button. If you are already registered, the button will say You're Registered and you can tap it to view or modify your RSVP.
2

Enter your email

If you are not logged in, the first step asks for your email address. The system checks whether your email is already on file with the church. If a match is found, you will be shown a preview (first name and last initial) and asked to confirm whether that profile is yours. If no match is found, you will proceed directly to the contact information step.
3

Log in or continue as a guest

If your email matches an existing profile, you will be given the option to log in (or create an account) for the full experience, or to continue as a guest. Logging in lets you manage your registration later, receive event updates, and register for future events more quickly. If you continue as a guest, your details will be pre-filled from your profile but you will need to log in later to make changes.
4

Confirm your contact information

Review or enter your first name, last name, email, and optionally your phone number. If you are logged in or were matched to an existing profile, these fields will already be filled in for you.
5

Set your attendance details

Choose the number of guests (including yourself) and select your response: Yes I'll attend, Maybe, or Can't make it. You can also add any notes, such as dietary restrictions or questions.
6

Volunteer (optional)

If you would like to help out, you can sign up as a volunteer. Choose from available roles such as Setup/Teardown, Registration/Check-in, Food Service, Childcare, Transportation, or Other, and add any notes about your availability.
7

Review and submit

Review a summary of your RSVP including your contact information, guest count, response, and volunteer selections. Then submit your registration.

Note

If you are registering as a guest (not logged in), a verification email will be sent to the address you provided. Your RSVP will not be processed until you click the verification link in that email. Logged-in users skip this step and are confirmed immediately.
8

Confirmation

After submitting, you will see a confirmation screen with the event details. From here you can add the event to your calendar (Google Calendar, Outlook, Yahoo, or download an .ics file), share the event link, or copy the link to your clipboard.

Registering Children for Events

Children's events like VBS and kids camp use a family registration wizard. This lets parents register multiple children at once and optionally sign up as a volunteer.

1

Tap Register on the event page

On the children's event page, tap the Register button. This opens the family registration wizard.
2

Enter your email (guests only)

If you are not logged in, you will enter your email and go through the same lookup flow described above: confirming your identity if a match is found, and choosing to log in or continue as a guest.
3

Choose how to participate

You will be asked to choose between two paths: Register Children to sign up your kids for the event, or Just Volunteer if you want to help out without registering children.
4

Set up your family

If you are logged in and already have children in your family profile, this step is handled automatically and you will be taken straight to child selection. If you are a new guest, you will enter your contact information and then add your children by providing each child's name, date of birth, gender, any allergies, and special notes.
5

Select children to register

Choose which of your children you want to register for the event. If the event has age or grade requirements, children who do not meet the criteria will be shown as ineligible. Children who are already registered by another family member will be shown as well. For grade-based events, you may need to select each child's completed grade.
6

Additional information

Add any notes about special needs, dietary restrictions, or accommodations for your children. This helps the church provide appropriate care.
7

Volunteer (optional)

You will be asked if you would like to volunteer. Available roles for children's events include Setup/Teardown, Registration/Check-in, Childcare Assistant, Activity Leader, Snack Service, and Safety Monitor.
8

Review and submit

Review a summary of your registration including your contact information and the children you are registering. If you are a guest, a verification email will be sent and your registration will not be finalized until you verify. Submit to complete the process.

Tip

If you already have an account with the church, log in before registering. Your information and children will be pre-filled, your registration will be confirmed instantly without email verification, and you will be able to modify or cancel your registration at any time.

What Information Is Needed

The information requested during registration depends on the event type:

  • Standard events: First name, last name, email (required); phone number (optional); guest count, response, and notes
  • Children's events: Parent/guardian contact information, child name, date of birth, gender, allergies, special notes, and grade (for grade-based events)
  • Volunteering: Your contact information plus your preferred volunteer roles and availability

After You Register

Once your registration is confirmed, you can return to the event page at any time. If you are logged in, the button will show You're Registered, and tapping it will let you view your registration details, update your information, or cancel your.

Email Verification for Guests

If you register without logging in, you will receive an email with a verification link. Clicking the link confirms your registration and redirects you back to the event page. If the event reaches capacity before you verify, you may be placed on the waitlist instead.

Note

If you registered as a guest and need to make changes, you will need to log in or create an account first. Contact the church directly if you need help.

Waitlists

Some events have a limited number of spots. If the event is at capacity when your registration is processed, you will automatically be placed on the waitlist. You will be notified if a spot opens up and your registration is promoted.
