For Visitors

Change or cancel your event RSVP

Update your guest count or details, or cancel altogether, from the same event page where you signed up.

Plans change. Everything you need is on the event page you signed up from — you do not need to email the church or fill the form in again.

Note

Sign in first, with the same email address you used to register. Your registration is attached to that address, and the buttons below only appear to the person it belongs to.

Find your registration

1

Open the event page

Go back to the church’s website and open the event. The link in your confirmation email goes straight there.
2

Look for 'You're registered'

Where the Register button used to be, the card now reads You’re registered with a Confirmed label and a summary such as 1 attending. Underneath are two controls: Edit registration and Cancel registration.
Both controls live on the event card once you are registered

Warning

Still seeing a plain Register button? You are either signed out, or signed in with a different email address than the one you registered with. Sign in with the address on your confirmation email. If you registered as a guest and never made an account, you will need to create one with that same address, or ask the church to make the change for you.

Change your details or guest count

1

Choose Edit registration

The same short form you filled in reopens, with your answers already in it.
2

Update what changed

The first step holds your own contact details. The next asks How many are attending? — the number that includes you — and whether you would also like to help volunteer.
3

Confirm

The last step shows a summary and, for paid events, an order total. Choose Confirm registration to save. You will see You’re registered again and get an updated confirmation email.

Tip

Bringing fewer people is the most common edit and the most useful one to the church — food, seating, and helpers are planned from the total headcount. It is worth thirty seconds.

Note

If the event charges per person, raising your guest count adds to your balance and lowering it may leave a credit to sort out with the church. Paying for your registration explains how balances and payment status work.

Cancel your registration

1

Choose Cancel registration

It is the underlined link below the Edit registration button.
2

Confirm in the dialog

A dialog asks Cancel this registration? and explains that your registration for the event will be cancelled and that you can sign up again later if a spot is still open. Choose Keep registration to back out, or Yes, cancel to go ahead.
Nothing is cancelled until you confirm

Warning

Cancelling frees your spot for someone else. On a popular event that spot can be taken quickly, so cancel only when you are sure. If you have already paid, cancelling does not automatically refund you — contact the church about the payment.

Just checking what you signed up for

To read your registration back without changing anything, follow the link in your confirmation email or add /my-registration to the event address. That page lists your name, email, phone, payment status, and the date you registered. It is a receipt, not a form — use Edit registration on the event page to make changes.

Other kinds of sign-up

  • Vacation Bible School and children’s events register a family rather than one person. Reopen the registration the same way and the family wizard opens instead.
  • Group registrations, where one organiser books a whole group, are managed from their own page — see Managing your group registration.

Tip

Cannot get in and the event is soon? Contact the church directly. Any administrator can edit or remove your registration in seconds, and would far rather do that than have an inaccurate headcount.
