Walk through the VBS registration process as a parent — from entering your email to selecting children, friend preferences, and volunteering.
This guide walks you through registering your children for Vacation Bible School. The registration wizard collects your family information, lets you choose which children to enroll, and gives you the option to volunteer.
Getting Started

Open the registration page
Visit the church's event page and click Register (or the RSVP button) to begin.

Choose your path
Select Register Children to sign up your kids, or Just Volunteer if you only want to help out.
Note
Choosing "Just Volunteer" skips the child-related steps and takes you directly to the volunteer sign-up.
Entering Your Email

Enter your email address
Type your email address to get started. The system checks if your family is already on file.

Confirm your identity
If the system finds your family, you'll see your name and child count. Click Yes, that's me to continue with your existing family information.

Log in or continue as a guest
If you have an account, you may be prompted to log in for full access. You can also continue as a guest — you'll still be able to register, but editing your registration later will require logging in.
Tip
Creating an account lets you edit your registration, manage your family profile, and speeds up future sign-ups at this church.
Setting Up Your Family
If you already have children on file, they appear automatically. If not, click Add a Child and enter their details: first name, last name, date of birth, and optionally gender, grade, allergies, and special notes.
Note
Allergy information is shared with VBS leaders during check-in to help keep your children safe.

Selecting Children

Choose which children to register
Check the box next to each child you want to register for VBS.

Select grades if required
If the event uses grade restrictions, select each child's current grade from the dropdown. Children outside the event's grade or age range appear in a separate Ineligible section with the reason shown.
Note
If a child is already registered by another family member, you'll see a green Registered badge next to their name.
Friend Preferences

Add a friend
For each child, click Add Friend to enter a friend's first and last name.

Add up to 3 friends
You can add up to 3 friend preferences per child. Organizers will do their best to group your child with their friends.

Copy to siblings
If you have multiple children, click Copy to Siblings to apply the same friend list to all your children at once.
Tip
Enter friend names as accurately as possible — the system uses name matching to connect your request with registered children.
Note
Friend requests are not guaranteed. Organizers do their best to honor them while balancing group sizes and grade ranges.
Additional Information
Depending on the event's settings, you may be asked to provide additional information:
T-shirt sizes — Select a size for each child from Youth Small through Adult 2XL
Additional notes — Enter any special needs, dietary restrictions, or accommodations
Custom questions — Some events have additional questions on the following steps
Volunteering

Sign up to volunteer
Click I'd Like to Volunteer if you want to help during VBS.

Select volunteer roles
Choose one or more roles from the grid: Setup/Teardown, Registration/Check-in, Childcare Assistant, Activity Leader, Snack Service, or Safety Monitor.

Add volunteer notes
Optionally add notes about your availability, skills, or preferences.
Review and Submit
The final step shows a summary of everything you've entered: guardian information, selected children, friend preferences, volunteer selections, and any custom field responses.

Verify your information
Review each section to make sure everything looks correct.

Submit your registration
Click Register to submit. You'll receive a confirmation email with event details at the email address you provided.
