VBS Analytics

The Analytics page gives you a visual breakdown of your VBS registrations. Use it to plan supplies, staffing, and accommodations based on the demographics of registered children.

Viewing Demographics

Open the Analytics page

Navigate to your VBS event and click Analytics in the admin sidebar. The header shows the total number of registered children.

The page displays four analytics cards in a grid:

Gender Distribution

A horizontal bar chart shows the count of registered children by gender — Male, Female, and Unknown. Each bar is color-coded and scaled relative to the largest group.

Tip

Gender data comes from child profiles. Encourage families to keep their profiles up to date for the most accurate demographics.

Age and Grade Distribution

The display adapts to your event's restriction mode:

Age mode — Horizontal bars grouped by age ranges (0–2, 3–5, 6–8, 9–11, 12–14, 15–17, 18+)
Grade mode — A list showing counts per grade level, sorted by grade order

Note

If your event uses grade-based restrictions, you'll see grade distribution. If it uses age-based restrictions, you'll see age groups. The chart automatically matches your event's configuration.

Allergy Tracking

The allergy card shows badges for each allergy type reported by registered children, with a count next to each one. Click any allergy badge to see a popover listing the affected children by name.

Warning

Always cross-reference allergy data with your check-in team to ensure safety protocols are in place for children with allergies.

Permissions

Viewing analytics requires the events.view or events.manage permission.
