Communication

Sending Messages

Email or text a team, a group, a family, or everyone. Schedule it, save it as a draft, and see what went out and who opened it.

Messages are emails and texts from your church to your people. Pick who, pick email or text, write it, and send. Every message you send is kept on the Messages page so you can see how it did and send it again.

Tip

The fastest way to message a team, group, or family is from its own page. Open the team and click Message team. The message opens already addressed.

3

Pick email, text, or both

Use Send by to choose. Texting needs the SMS add-on; without it, Text shows a lock and a link to add it. Under the To field you will see how many people get the message and who is left out, for example someone with no mobile number or who turned texts off.
4

Write it

Add a subject for email, then write your message. Under the message box you will find Templates for common notes, Personalize to drop in {{firstName}} or your church details, and Write with AI if your plan includes the AI Assistant. Choose Preview to see the email and the text as a recipient will.

Note

When you send by both email and text, the text is the plain version of the same message. Keep it under 160 characters to use one text credit per person.
